Designed around the drama of the Mara River, this five-day safari moves from Tarangire through Central and Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro, timed for travelers chasing the Great Migration at its most dramatic (roughly July to October).

Depart Arusha in the morning for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and seasonal swamps. Spend the day on game drives before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Drive to Central Serengeti, taking in wildlife sightings along the way. After a packed lunch inside the park, spend the afternoon on further game drives across this predator-rich ecosystem.

Head north toward the Mara River, where your guide will seek out the best vantage points to witness wildebeest and zebra attempting the crossing, one of the most dramatic stages of the migration.
A final game drive in the Northern Serengeti in the morning, followed by a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with lunch en route. Settle into your lodge on the crater rim for the evening.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing among its resident lions, elephants, buffalo, and black rhinos before transferring back to Arusha in the afternoon.
