Mawenzi Tarn To Kibo Hut

Today’s trek crosses the broad Saddle, the high-altitude desert between Mount Kilimanjaro’s Mawenzi and Kibo volcanic cones.

The trail may feel challenging because of the altitude, so your guide will maintain a slow and steady pace.

Eventually, you reach Kibo Hut, located at approximately 4,700 meters.

You will receive a final summit briefing before getting some rest.

Because the summit climb begins around midnight, an early bedtime is essential.
